Due to scheduling conflicts, it turns out I have to teach tomorrow night at the grove meeting, because someone got their dates mixed up. This means I have to pinch hit, and I’ve got about 24 hours to do it.
I have the following topics that I either HAVE prepared, or COULD have prepared for a 90 minute discussion tomorrow night:
- Nature Awareness/Environmentalism in Houston
- Indo European Cultures – tripartite theory (three socio-political classes) and whether that’s even worth considering
- Virtue practice (either specific virtues or in general)
- Finding your own ways to celebrate pagan holidays while not totally rejecting what your family or friends are doing
- Animism as a foundation for polytheism
- Cultivating your Mental Grove/Inner Temple (Introductory Trance Exercises)
- Basics of Cleansing, Warding, and Banishing
- The Matronae (usually triple mother goddess figures) and how to incorporate them into modern practice
Any of those sound particularly cool?
Iām always partial to animism. š
